Aims and objectives of the Competition

Identifying current challenges and seeking solutions in the field of architectural education, and identifying trends in the future development of cities, taking into account past traditions and utilising modern advances.

- Identifying and supporting talented students of architecture, urban planning, design and landscape architecture; engaging young people in the process of creating a comfortable, sustainable and safe urban environment in Russia and abroad.

- To promote the professions of architect, town planner, designer and landscape architect, as well as new ideas and technologies.

- To draw public attention to issues relating to the creation of a comfortable urban environment. To showcase the perspectives of young architects and designers, as well as students at higher education institutions, on the design and construction of urban development projects in the context of ever-increasing urbanisation.

- To enhance the professional training of future specialists and their skills in design work.

- Fostering an active, engaged attitude amongst young people towards creating a comfortable living environment.

- To create a database of the best student projects, recommended for consideration by state authorities, local government bodies, the professional community and the competition’s partners;

- To provide opportunities for graduates of higher education institutions to engage directly with potential employers.

Dates of the Competition

The competition will run from 10 May 2026 to 25 February 2027.

Entries will be accepted electronically from 15 May 2026 to 5 November 2026.
